Genealogies of Critical Ethnic Studies: Activism & Institutions
Vassar’s Asian American Studies Working Group (VASAM) and the Engaged Pluralism Initiative (EPI) invite you to the upcoming student-led conference, Genealogies of Critical Ethnic Studies: Activism & Institutions from April 23-25.
The conference will highlight Critical Ethnic Studies, an emerging field which examines the entanglement of race, ethnicity, indigeneity, and power dynamics. This event will bring to the campus a wide conversation of the field, its relevance to the liberal arts, and its deep connections to activism within and without the academy.
